Ordered the “Tacos Al Carbon” before ordering I asked if the meat was really cooked on charcoal because that’s what tacos al carbon means and the waitress said yes they were cooked on charcoal, when received the food I could tell right away the meat was cooked on oil… the meat literally had no flavor and was extremely chewy and the pico de gallo was old and dry and don’t let me tell you how the beans smelled and tasted extremely foul. The waitress ignored me the entire time once I received my order and the entire staff was on their phones laughing and having a great time ignoring customers.
First time checking this place out Got seated quickly that was only reason I’m giving one star I understand it’s a busy day being cinco de mayo and all but this place clearly cannot keep up with the demand of their $1 mini taco promo on Tuesdays Was told which table to go sit at, after that no menu, no waters, no one acknowledged me and my daughter Checked the time and 16 minutes later get brought someone else’s food only reason they finally began to wait on us I was ready to walk out after 7mins but my kid was hungry so went ahead and ordered these basic little tacos Oh and was never given a menu even after they remembered we were here so no clue what kind of beverages they have or food besides “tacos” hence the name of the place and promo item I saw on social media Place is very small, hot but maybe because so many bodies in small space Will not be returning or recommending this restaurant to anyone
Initially we were looking for another restaurant. God is good, we came across this unique place. Pricing was more than reasonable, the food quality outstanding and a 10/10, the service was friendly, but the quality of food, spices, that Smokey onion flavor and cheese on the tacos toreados was phenomenal. A must return with the family. Oh yeah and grab a margarita, you will not regret.
